Young Ukrainians often choose European countries for higher education. However, even while abroad, they have certain obligations to Ukraine, in particular compliance with the rules of military accounting. Therefore, the young men who went abroad will have to return to the Motherland to fulfill these obligations.
Ukrainian young men who have already reached the age of 17 are obliged to register for the military. The Ministry of Defense notes that it is impossible to do this remotely - you need to personally visit the territorial procurement centers (TCC).
Recently, the "Rezerv+" platform became operational in Ukraine. The application allows you to update military registration data online, but this option is available only to citizens who are already registered with the TCC. Those who have not yet registered must personally visit the TCC.
"The update applies to all conscripted citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60. In order to update contact data as required by law, a conscript must be registered. Citizens register for military service at the age of 17. If this has not been done, the conscript must apply to the TCC and SP at the place of registration and register for military registration. Currently, this is the only way, there is no such possibility remotely," the department explained.
