On the night of May 31, Russian troops directed five S-300/S-400 guided missiles fired from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation at Kharkiv. "One of the rockets hit a five-story residential building, as a result of which the structures from the 3rd to the 5th floor of one of its entrances were completely destroyed. There was a fire on an area of 80 square meters. Firefighters rescued 6 people, including 1 child, from the dilapidated house."
Sinegubov reported that four people had died as of this morning. "Unfortunately, another dead body was found in the destroyed house. As of now, there are four dead," he said.
He added that among the 25 victims were two children - a boy and a girl, 12 years old.
Also, as a result of repeated shelling at 00:15, a fire truck and an ambulance were damaged. In addition, a man born in 1959 died as a result of a rocket hitting the ground on the territory of a civilian enterprise.
Another hit was in a three-story administrative building.
According to Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the National Security Service in the Kharkiv region, the enemy used a double-strike tactic to inflict the most damage.
It is reported that 6 more people may be under the rubble. Emergency and rescue work at the site of the destroyed residential building continues.
