Power outage schedules have been introduced in several regions of Ukraine

In Sumy Oblast and Poltava Oblast, schedules of emergency power outages due to enemy strikes on energy infrastructure facilities have been introduced. Oblenergo informed about this.

According to the order of the NEC "Ukrenergo", on October 28 from 09:01 in the territory of the Poltava region, in particular, in the Myrhorod, Lubensky, Lokhvytskyi, Hadiatskyi, Grebinkivskyi, Khorolskyi, Orzhytskyi, Chornukhinskyi and Pyryatinskyi districts, a schedule of emergency shutdowns was introduced. The volume of unloading in these areas is 25 MW.

In addition, emergency shutdown schedules have also been introduced in Sumy region. At 09:06, power was cut off to consumers in Konotopskyi (line 5) and Romensky districts (lines 1 and 2).

As of eight in the morning on October 28, as a result of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, more than 16,000 consumers were left without electricity in the Sumy region. This is another evidence of how the war negatively affects the everyday life of Ukrainians.
