Ukraine has exceeded the epidemiological threshold in Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Khmelnitsky and Chernivtsi regions. In this regard, local quarantine events are being introduced in the regions, including schools and translating online format.
According to the Ministry of Health, the regional commissions of the TEB and the emergency make decisions on the introduction of local quarantine in separate settlements or educational institutions. This may include:
- transition of individual classes or all schools to distance learning;
- limiting the number of visitors in public institutions;
- Increased monitoring of adherence to anti -epidemic measures.
Over the last week, more than 171 thousand people have been ill in Ukraine, of whom 104,000 are children. This is 13% more than a week earlier. At the same time, the MoH notes that such indicators are typical of the middle of the epidemic season.
Currently, influenza viruses are circulating in 22 regions of the country, and, by projections, by April, they will prevail over a coronavirus infection. Despite the increase in the number of patients, only 3% of patients needed hospitalization, and they all received the necessary medical care.
