The panel of judges of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS) granted the claim of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) for recognition of unreasonable assets in the amount of UAH 3.3 million . The corresponding decision provides for civil confiscation and transfer of funds in favor of the state.
The case was considered within the framework of anti -corruption legislation, which allows the withdrawal of assets whose origin cannot be explained by the legitimate sources of income .

The assets formally belong to the wife of the official, but are actually used by the head of one of the departments of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv.
The decision was made, in particular, on the results of monitoring a lifestyle conducted by the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption.
It was found that close relatives of the official in 2021-2022 purchased an apartment in Kiev and a Volkswagen Touareg car in 2016, with no legal income.
The court's decision may be appealed within 30 days from the date of its full text.
