The military conflict in Ukraine, which has been going on for more than a year, not only radically changed the economic situation in the country, but also became an incentive for the development of some business sectors. One of these sectors was collection activity. In 2023, collection companies generated a record amount of 737 million hryvnias in revenue, which indicates the growth of demand for their services in the conditions of financial instability and military operations.
The highest indicator of revenue according to the results of 2023. was shown by "European Debt Recovery Agency" LLC. Its member is another LLC "European Debt Recovery Agency". The beneficiary of both firms is ex-Nardeput Serhiy Tihipko, who is a key person of TAS FPG. In total, these 2 collection companies earned a little more than UAH 160 million in 2023.
Second place in terms of revenue for 2023 in Creditexpress LLC LLC. with an indicator of UAH 71.5 million. Creditexpress is part of the SVEA international holding. The sum of revenue of all companies of the SVEA holding amounted to UAH 100.6 million.
The register of collection companies now includes 79 legal entities. Sanigo LLC showed the largest increase in revenue - 190 times, from UAH 9.6 thousand in 2021 to UAH 1.8 million in 2023.
