How to return energy in the middle of the day: The main causes of lethargy

If you are covered with fatigue before lunch, the concentration is reduced and your eyes are literally sticking together - you are not yourself. Daytime drowsiness is a common phenomenon that often has simple explanations. Medical experts identify several key reasons and give practical tips on how to change the situation for the better.

1. The natural recession of energy

Our body works on a biological clock. And the natural decline in energy between 13:00 and 15:00 is part of a normal daily rhythm. During this period, you often want to take a nap. The best option is a short dining dream - 15-20 minutes is enough to recharge without the effect of "brokenness".

2. Food that “steals” energy

Lunch with lots of carbohydrates or heavy dishes causes sharp fluctuations in blood sugar. Initially, an inflow of energy appears, but it is rapidly declining. The body spends resources on digestion, so there is sluggishness. Instead, it is better to choose a balanced lunch: protein (chicken, fish), useful fats (avocados, nuts), whole grain porridge.

3. Lack of full sleep

4. Dehydration of the body

Coffee - carefully: it can contribute to the loss of fluid. And remember: do not wait for thirst - it is better not to bring the body to such a signal.

5. Lack of movement

The sedentary lifestyle slows blood circulation and weakens muscle tone. The result is sluggishness and drowsiness before lunch. Regular light activity - fast walking, stretching, charging - helps to stay energetic. A few minutes of movement every hour is enough to improve your well -being.

Daily fatigue is not a sentence. It often signals that the body lacks sleep, water, movement or proper nutrition. Small daily changes can significantly affect your productivity and well -being. Listen to yourself - maybe your body does not need another coffee, but just water, movement and a little rest.
