What are the social assistance for children in Ukraine this year

In 2025, social payments for children, including help for pregnant women, postpartum care, monthly payments for guardians and other payments, continue in Ukraine. Let's take a closer look at what benefits are provided to families with children.

Payments for children after childbirth and during the decree

This year, state aid during the decree is provided for both workers and unemployed women. For officially employed, the minimum maternity assistance is 7100 UAH per month, the maximum - 106 500 UAH per month. This amount is calculated on the basis of a woman's annual salary before leaving. For unemployed women, assistance is 25% of the subsistence minimum for able -bodied persons, ie 757 UAH per month.

After the birth of the child or its adoption, the amount of assistance from the state is 41 280 UAH, with payments made in stages: the first 10 320 UAH receives after the birth of the child or adoption, and 860 UAH is paid monthly within three years.

Social payments for children under care, single mothers and child support

In Ukraine, they continue to pay assistance to single mothers and families where children are in care. Payments for children under the age of six are UAH 2 563 per month, for children from 6 to 18 years - 3 196 UAH, and for children under 23 years of age, who study in higher education institutions in full -time - 3 028 UAH.

For children under guardianship, help is:

  • for a child up to 6 years - 6407.5 UAH;
  • for a child up to 6 years with disabilities - UAH 8970.5;
  • per child from 6 to 18 years - 7990 UAH;
  • per child from 6 to 18 years with disabilities - 11 186 UAH.

There are also payments for those who care for sick children. They make up:

  • for a child up to 6 years - 5126 UAH;
  • per child from 6 to 18 years - 6392 UAH.

Alimony payments

Alimony for children in Ukraine is determined if parents do not fulfill their obligations to pay them. In 2025, the guaranteed amount of child support is:

  • for children under 6 years - 1 281.50 UAH per month;
  • For children from 6 to 18 years - 1 598 UAH per month.

Maximum alimony for children:

  • up to 6 years - 25 630 UAH;
  • From 6 to 18 years - 31 960 UAH.

These payments should not exceed 10 subsistence minimums for one child.
