According to the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense, Ivan Havrylyuk, the Ukrainian military has already received domestic ammunition and other types of weapons this year. New Ukrainian weapons are already being used at the front, in particular, the largest group among them is artillery ammunition.
Also, during the period from January to March, a new group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was delivered to the Ukrainian military. This group includes both modernized UAVs for aerial reconnaissance, as well as completely new drones of various types, in particular, FPV-kamikaze and multi-purpose attack UAVs.
In addition, the Ukrainian military received robotic ground systems and means of electronic warfare (EW). Ukrainian-made robotic platforms can perform a variety of tasks, including fire support, transporting wounded and logistics.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Defense also noted that armored vehicles, specialized equipment, means of communication and vehicles are among the weapons that have entered service. Some types of weapons have unique characteristics that will soon be felt by the Russian occupiers.
The development of the domestic defense industry indicates high dynamics in this sector. Ukrainian enterprises produce a wide range of military equipment and weapons, which helps to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary means for waging war.
