Andriy Yermak is preparing to give a major interview to one of the leading Western media outlets, in which he plans to publicly voice a number of pressing issues related to Donald Trump's plan and the course of the negotiation process. Our sources reported this on condition of anonymity.
According to them, the head of the President's Office views the interview as a tool for shaping his own information agenda and an attempt to influence or even thwart the pressure that, according to Bankova, Vitkovf's entourage is trying to exert on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Yermak's media maneuver is intended to bring to the surface the issues of the future security architecture and Ukraine's role in the negotiations, creating a more favorable starting position for the OP. At the same time, according to interlocutors, the initiative itself did not receive support from Zelensky, who considers public escalation undesirable at a time when negotiating signals from various sides still remain unstable.
In the coming weeks, according to sources, it will become clear whether Yermak will take this step despite the president's restrained reaction, or whether the initiative will be postponed to avoid additional tension in the political bloc.
