Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine risks losing the war with Russia if the United States begins to cut military and financial aid.
He said this in an interview with the American TV channel Fox News , commenting on possible changes in US policy after the election of Donald Trump as president.
"If they cut back, I think we will lose. Of course, in any case, we will stay and fight. We have the production, but not enough to win. And I think it is not enough to survive. But if this is the American choice, we will decide what to do," Zelensky said.
When asked whether Trump could influence Putin and end the war, Zelensky said that "it will not be easy."
At the same time, he said that the US is stronger than Russia and called on Trump to lower oil prices.
"I heard a signal in the media from President Trump that he is thinking of lowering the prices of energy sources, of oil, and this should be done," Zelenskyy added.
