On June 1, 2025, new military accounting rules for women, including those who have medical or pharmaceutical education, come into force in Ukraine. These changes are related to the updating of the legislation against the background of continuing mobilization and have practical consequences for both employment and traveling abroad.
Whom it concerns
It is about all women with a diploma of a physician or pharmacist - regardless of whether they work in the specialty. According to lawyer Anastasia Rudenko (Winner Partners), such citizens are obliged to register in the territorial centers of acquisition (TCC).
That will be for the violation
Ignoring this duty entails administrative responsibility:

The first violation is a fine from 850 to 1700 UAH;

repeated during the year - up to 2550 UAH.
In addition, failure to comply with accounting requires official employment. Employers are obliged to check whether the candidate has a military accounting document. If there is no such document, employment violates the law.
Impact on the possibility of traveling abroad
Women who are on military account but do not have the status of servicemen can travel freely outside Ukraine. However, those who have concluded the Armed Forces contract have restrictions - the command requires command.
It should be noted separately that women who work in health care facilities but have not been registered may be entered in the Oberig Register. In this case, the border guards have reason to temporarily refuse the border crossing to eliminate the violation. Although not all data from this register is carefully checked in practice, the risks remain.
Context: New Rules of VLK
It should be reminded that in 2025 the procedure for passing the Military Medical Commission (VLK) for conscripts, reservists and conscripts also changed. The new rules provide for certain terms of the conclusions, the obligation to undergo medical examination and penalties.
Result
From June 1, 2025, women with medical education must be on military account. This is an important requirement that affects employment, the legality of employers' actions and even the possibility of leaving the country. Avoid accounting is the risk of penalties and restrictions, so it is worth taking care of the requirements in advance.
