Nevertheless, in 2024, Dangadze created Ukrtak, which became the main supplier of ammunition for the Armed Forces and the National Guard. In a short time, the structure has received billions of hryvnias, which raised questions about the transparency of purchases and the selection of suppliers.
According to journalist Igor Khmuro (Potkor "), Ukrakt Company in 2024 disrupted the supply of bulletproof vests for the Ukrainian military. Despite the almost UAH 1 billion, bulletproof vests in the promised volumes did not come to the troops.
However, the state of the rear and the National Guard continue to enter into agreements with the company of Dangadze, despite unfulfilled obligations.
In addition to the problems with the implementation of the contract, Ukrtak has got into the field of view of the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab). Investigators suspect the structure in smuggling of bulletproof vests from Turkey and possible frauds with public funds.
According to the sources, the Bab has seized the property of the company, and investigators study the details of contracts and possible corruption schemes.
Dangadze himself calls the actions of law enforcement officers "political persecution" and states that investigators put pressure on him through his political past and nationality.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers are inspecting not only Ukrakt, but also officials who have allowed to enter into contracts on such amounts despite the problems with deliveries.
