On the night of October 25-26, Ukraine will switch to winter time. Clocks need to be set back one hour. This change affects a person's biorhythms, forcing the body to drastically adjust. This can cause fatigue, sleep disturbances, and reduced efficiency at work.
To make the adaptation to the new time easier, experts advise using the extra hour to your advantage. You can do morning exercises, take a walk in the fresh air, or perform routine chores. The main thing is to maintain eight hours of sleep to restore the body.
It is also worth postponing important tasks for the first week after the time change, avoiding energy and alcoholic drinks, starting the morning with light, and not overexerting yourself. Particular attention should be paid to the elderly and those with cardiovascular diseases.
Before going to bed, it is recommended to turn off gadgets and the TV so that you can fall asleep in silence. Frequent walks in the fresh air, regular ventilation of rooms and support for immunity will help the body adapt faster. The diet should also be normalized: more fruit, less fast food, fatty, spicy and sweet, maintaining water balance.
Driving should be limited in the first few days after the clock change, as violating the regime can increase the risk of accidents. Most of these tips are universal and consistent with the principles of a healthy lifestyle, so they should be followed constantly.
