Actress Darya Legeyda decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Famous Ukrainian actress and volunteer Darya Legeyda, who gained fame thanks to the TV series “Kriposna,” has decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Although she initially planned to become a combat medic, she chose a different path due to knee problems – training to become an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator.

This was stated in an interview by the actress's husband, Dmytro Sova, known for his role in the TV series "The Village for a Million." Dmytro currently serves in the First Recruiting Center of the Ukrainian Army and supports his wife's decision.

“Daria wants to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine in any way she can, even if it will be physically difficult for her because of her joints. She has always been devoted to her country and is ready to study to contribute to victory,” said Sova.

Darya initially wanted to become a combat medic, but due to health problems, she decided to try her hand at being a UAV operator.

“I said: okay, if you want, I will find a unit that trains girls. I was once told that women in the military, especially snipers and UAV operators, often achieve a high level of skill. They have a powerful energy that helps them be extremely effective,” shared Dmytro.

The actress's husband admitted that he had previously tried to dissuade his wife from military service, but now supports her decision.

“She brings a lot of benefits by engaging in volunteer activities and collecting for the needs of the army. If she wants to learn something new, let her learn. This is not only an important experience, but also an opportunity to meet interesting people,” said Dmytro.

Daria Legeyda is a vivid example of how representatives of creative professions, in difficult times for the country, join the fight for its independence, using their skills and perseverance.
