Carrying out fortification works in the Zaporizhzhia direction is the main task set by the President for the newly appointed head of ZOVA, Ivan Fedorov.
At the same time, information about the companies involved in these works is a "secret". But, as the journalists of our publication found out, not "state" but "corrupt", and Ivan Fedorov personally.
According to our sources in ZOVA, two Melitopol companies were involved by Ivan Fedorov in the performance of fortification works in the Zaporozhye direction: "MELSITY" LLC and "PROEKTNO-BUDIVELNA KOMPANYA "AKVI-BUD" LLC, probably affiliated with Ivan Fedorov himself.
During Fedorov's rule in the now-occupied Melitopol, both companies regularly won city tenders and were repeatedly mentioned in the media in connection with high-profile corruption scandals. Therefore, Fedorov's desire to hide from journalists and the public the names of the companies that allocate billions from the state budget for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region is generally understandable.
Regarding the corruption component during the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region, we can cite an example of overpricing of the most common element of anti-tank defense: the so-called "dragon's teeth".
Ivan Fedorov canceled the tender conducted by the previous chairman of ZOVA, Yury Malashko, in which the purchase price was UAH 1,500. per piece and conducted a new one, where the price for one "dragon's tooth" is already 1,800 hryvnias. It is worth noting that the real price at which the military buys "dragon's teeth" is UAH 1,300.
As we can see, Fedorov is hiding the names of companies that won tenders for fortification works in the Zaporizhia region for a reason. At the same time, Fedorov covers himself with a "state secret" and the fact that "the enemy should not know about the progress of the fortification works. It's true, but Fedorov himself reports on them almost daily on his Facebook page and in numerous interviews.
In addition, the journalists of our publication learned that Ivan Fedorov together with his partners bought an industrial site for the production of "dragon's teeth", the products of which are supplied for fortification works through controlled companies, at prices significantly higher than market prices. We do not publish the address of the production for security reasons, but we hope that it will not be difficult for NABU to find out.
It is worth noting that with the appointment of Ivan Fedorov to the position of the head of the Zaporizhia military administration, his entire entourage began to "feed" from the budget.
Currently, Ivan Fedorov actually lives in the house of the ex-governor of the Zaporizhzhia Region, Vitaliy Turinko, about which he "forgot" to inform the NAZK. But he did not "forget" to thank Turinko himself - by awarding a tender for the construction of VOP (platoon strongholds) to Tarasenko, who was Turinko's deputy and is considered his man.
