Over the past 24 hours, significant military events have taken place in eastern Ukraine, indicating enemy activity in several directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
There were 139 battles on the front over the past 24 hours, the enemy is quite active in the Torets direction, continued offensive and assault actions in the Kharkiv direction, carried out the most attacks in the Pokrovsky direction, and received a tough rebuff near Malaya Tokmachka in the Orikhiv direction. "Over the past 24 hours, 139 combat clashes have occurred," the General Staff reported.
According to updated information, yesterday the aggressor launched six missile strikes (using twelve missiles), 55 air strikes (using 72 anti-aircraft guns), and carried out over three thousand shellings, 105 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, on the positions of our troops and settlements.
"Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck two artillery systems, an ammunition depot, an electronic warfare station, six personnel concentration areas, and another important occupier facility," the General Staff said.
As reported by the General Staff, the situation by direction is as follows:
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued offensive and assault operations with the support of aviation; a total of eight combat clashes took place here in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Starytsia, and Lyptsy.
In the Kupyansk direction, the number of clashes per day increased to five. Defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, our troops prevented 21 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske in the Luhansk region, Terny in the Donetsk region, and in the Serebryansk forest.
In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks in the areas of Spirne and Viymyka in the Donetsk region and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped ten enemy attempts to break through our defenses in the areas of Klishchiivka, Kalynivka, Ivanovsky and Andriivka, Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor is quite active - he carried out 18 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Pivtschenye, and New York in the Donetsk region. He supported his actions with air strikes.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders repelled 45 attacks by the invaders near the settlements of Kalynove, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvizhenka, Yevhenivka, Progress, Yasnobrodivka, Novoselivka Persha, Umanske, and Netailove in the Donetsk region. More than half of them were carried out by the aggressor near Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, and Kostyantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops nine times.
In the Vremiv direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks on our positions in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Vodyane, and Makarivka, Donetsk region.

In the Dnieper direction, the invaders continue to try to knock out units of the Defense Forces from positions on bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. All five attacks by the Russian invaders were unsuccessful.
in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. No signs of enemy offensive formations have been detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
"At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy's offensive potential along the entire line of combat contact and in the rear," the General Staff reported.
