Amid the harsh economic measures that the Cabinet of Ministers is actively implementing in Ukraine to reduce budget expenditures, some territories of the country under occupation continue to approve budgets for the next year. One such example is the Oleshkiv budget.

We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers recently adopted Order No. 39-r and Resolution No. 50, which have already been dubbed “ preparation for hungry times ” on the sidelines. The documents approve the procedure for analyzing and optimizing work processes in central executive bodies, the ultimate goal of which is to reduce state budget expenditures.
Let us remind you that the Oleshkiv community has been under Russian occupation for almost three years. In June 2023, it became known about the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station dam , which caused Oleshki to actually go under water. Currently, according to the head of the city military administration, Tetyana Hasanenko, “Oleshki is actually the front line.”
The editorial office of the publication has received documents on the formation of the budget of the Oleshkiv urban territorial community for 2025. An order from the head of the Oleshkiv MVA.
The document is indicative, as despite the total increase in taxes in order to fill the budget and the Cabinet of Ministers' attempts to "cut expenses," officials of the occupied Oleshkiv continue to "serve the community" while being in the rear.
