NABU has detained the associates of Chernyshov Minister in the Billion Budget Case

NABU and SAP detained two former associates of Viceremer-Minister Alexei Chernyshov-Maxim Gorbatyuk and Vasyl Volodin-in a case related to large-scale corruption abuse in the construction sphere.

It is a scheme with the illegal allocation of land in Kiev for the construction of a residential complex. According to the investigation, the estimation of the value of the land was deliberately low five, which causes the state to lose more than UAH 1 billion in the form of living spaces that were transferred in exchange for land.

In addition, the developer gave significant discounts on apartments for high -ranking officials involved in the scheme. The total amount of such "discounts" reached UAH 16.8 million. One of the apartments, according to journalist Mikhail Tkach, was included in the family of an employee of the special service, who provided the protection of Chernyshov himself.

According to Tkach, Alexey Chernyshov is directly appeared in this case, which covers the period of his stay as the Minister of Community and Territories. However, he is abroad - now in the Czech Republic, from where he recently performed online at the forum, an organized structure he had previously headed.

While Gorbatyuk was detained during an attempt to leave Ukraine on vacation, Chernyshov did not return to the country, despite the deployment of active investigative actions. According to the sources of Tkach, searches were already in his house, but not publicly reported.

Alexei Chernyshov is a figure close to the state leadership. According to the journalist, he has long -term contacts with President Vladimir Zelensky and with the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Ermak. Despite this, or perhaps that is why Chernyshov continued his career and received the position of Viceremier, even after NABU began an investigation.

Weaver does not exclude that the appointment of a new prosecutor general may be related to Chernyshov's case. In particular, it is a risk of retraining or transferring from NABU to a more "loyal" law enforcement agency, such as DBR.

"Remember, so have you saved one high -ranking official?" The journalist hints.

According to Tkach, Ukraine witnessed another anti -corruption drama, where the performers are detained, but the main figures - either silent or disappear from view.

"The next anti -corruption series is unfolding right now. His finale is open. We are watching this case very carefully. And on the return of Chernyshov, we are seeing even more," he summarizes.
