People's Deputy Oleg Tarasov has declared more than 22 million hryvnias for 2024, of which more than 21 million - gifts from his father, agrarian businessman Sergei Tarasov. According to the investigation, the deputy's father is hiding from Ukrainian law enforcement officers and suspected of stealing state lands.
This was reported by the ABSSION Bureau, analyzing Tarasov's declaration.
According to the document, more than UAH 8.8 million Tarasov received as a money gift, another 12.3 million - as a "non -monetary gift". However, the deputy did not specify any real estate, car or valuable property in the declaration that could explain the content of this gift.
In addition, Tarasov declared 11 ownership operations, but did not specify the amount of transactions or even the country where they took place. Such uncertainty in the public document raises questions about the transparency of declared property and possible concealment of assets.
Particularly resonant is the fact that Sergey Tarasov - the owner of the agricultural holding of the I & U Group, which is outside Ukraine and appears in an investigation into the illegal seizure of 12 thousand hectares of state land in the Kirovograd region. His activities are also associated with the use of American lobbyists to promote their own image abroad and discredit the Ukrainian authorities.
Anti -corruption experts call to check the accuracy of the data in Tarasov's declaration, in particular the origin of declared gifts and possible conflict of interests, given the criminal status of the giver.
As of the time of the publication, Tarasov himself and his representatives did not comment on the origin of "non -monetary" gifts and did not provide explanations about doubtful information in the declaration.
