Despite the third year of a full -scale war, the expansion and MP Petro Poroshenko demonstrates impressive financial performance. According to the Declaration for 2024, its income reached UAH 4.62 billion - this is more than three times more than three times earned in 2022 and 2023, when its profits were 1.43 and UAH 1.44 billion respectively.
For comparison, in the pre -war 2021 Poroshenko declared only 162 million - that is, an increase of more than 30 times.
Dividends, securities transactions, corporate rights, as well as finances received through companies with Poroshenko business structures, remain the main source of revenues. At the same time, much of the income is still output outside Ukraine. Thus, in 2024, the expatriate invested more than UAH 1.21 billion in foreign securities - almost twice as much as a year earlier. These funds were passed through financial structures in Switzerland.
Thus, in three years of the war, Poroshenko declared more than 7.5 billion hryvnias of income-and most of them in 2024.
Earlier, the media reported that on the eve of the imposition of sanctions, the politician managed to withdraw over one billion hryvnias from Ukraine and almost a billion "gave". Given these figures, it is not surprising that during the war, Poroshenko rose in the ranking of the richest Ukrainians from 12 to third place. His family declared assets for almost a billion dollars.
We will remind, on February 13, 2024 against a number of politicians and oligarchs, in particular Petro Poroshenko, sanctions for activities were imposed, which poses a threat to the National Security of Ukraine. Among the accusations are lobbying of Kharkiv agreements, financing of fighters in the Donbass, maintaining business in Russia during the war, as well as the illegal alienation of the oil pipeline with the participation of Medvedchuk.
According to the poll, 65.2% of Ukrainians support such sanctions, considering them fair.
