The situation at the front is deteriorating: Russian troops have taken control of two villages near Avdiivka and are actively attacking Chasiv Yar and trying to advance in the direction of Kurakhovo. Yulian Röpke, an expert on open data analysis, reported that the villages of Tonenke and Orlivka were already under the occupation of Russian troops. He noted that the Russian attacks resulted in significant losses of personnel and equipment on the Ukrainian side.
It is noticeable that the enemy is also becoming more active in the direction of Bakhmut, in particular, near Chasovoy Yar, located 70 kilometers north of Avdiivka. According to Yuriy Fedorenko, the commander of the battalion of unmanned aerial systems "Achilles", the defense forces manage to repel enemy attacks, but the threat of losing Chasovoy Yar remains serious.
The Russian occupiers are also trying to launch an offensive in the Mariinsky direction, directing their efforts in the direction of Georgiivka and Kurakhovo. The situation in this direction is becoming increasingly tense, especially near Georgiivka, where Russian forces continue to press Ukrainian positions.
The enemy's intention to squeeze into Pervomaiske is also noted, which makes this area one of the hottest on the front now.
