According to information published by BILD expert Julian Röpke, Russian troops are very close to cutting off the main supply route for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas. According to the expert, there are only 7 kilometers left to the place where this important road can be blocked.
According to him, expanding the bridgehead around Ocheretyn, Russian troops are advancing, in particular, to the northwest. There they almost captured the village of Novooleksandrivka (the Russians claim to have completely captured the court, Ukraine does not confirm this).
Röpke notes that the advancement of the Russians in this direction makes strategic sense: to reach the T0504 highway, which is called the "road of life." It goes from Kostyantynivka to Pokrovsk, where the path to the Dnipro opens. Now this is the main supply route of the ZSU group in the Chasova Yaru area.
The Russian troops had about 7 km to cut the track. There is only one village Vozdvizhenka on this road. If the route through T0504 is lost, the ZSU will have alternative supply routes. For example, from the north through Izyum or rural roads. But they are not as convenient as the "road of life", writes Röpke.
