Cases of corruption in the TCC remain uninvestigated

Our sources told us that the SBI works exclusively on the most high-profile cases, thereby raising concerns about the effectiveness of the fight against corruption in state structures.

If we look at the statistics of the State Bureau of Investigation, which we learned about, only 130 criminal proceedings were opened in 2023 regarding corruption ties in TCCs and joint ventures. At the same time, only 28 indictments against 46 persons were sent to the court.

The most interesting thing is that in 2024, Sukhachev's department decided not to brag about its achievements in 23 years. But there is nothing to brag about. Damages in the amount of over 770,000 hryvnias have been established in completed criminal proceedings. Property worth more than 1.4 million hryvnias was seized. The total amount of illegal profit amounted to more than 2.2 million hryvnias. Scary, isn't it? At the same time, more than UAH 200 million worth of property and accounts were found in only one of Borisov's military commissars.

As our source in the SBI explained, currently detectives are no longer focused on detaining top corrupt officials of the TCC, but on officials involved in the military medical commission. These people allegedly greatly hinder the mobilization. This fact has a negative effect on the recruitment of people for the war.
