Musician Denis, son of famous singer Taisiya Povaliy, has sparked controversy with his remarks about the war in Ukraine and mobilization. His statements, published on Instagram, caused a wave of public outrage.
He compared military service with adultery, as well as vegetarians, who are not forced to eat meat.
“What has a person done to the state that he should not only die for it, but also kill? But there is no need to talk about ‘they will come and rape your women.’ They did not come out of nowhere, but after 8 years of the ATO,” Denis said.
In addition, he mentioned the Ukrainian heroine Shura Ryazantseva. It is known that the girl died in the hospital from heart failure. However, Povaliy believes that she “died of her own free will.”.
“A person took a risk of his own free will and died. What if people don’t have such beliefs? Is it fair to drive them to the front?” the musician said cynically.
It is worth noting that Denis Povaliy left Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. He has been living in Valencia for over two years.
