The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved new rules for booking conscripts for the period of mobilization. The main change concerns enterprises in front-line regions and companies working in the defense sector.
Previously, the option to reserve 100% of employees applied to all critical enterprises located near the front line. Now this right is reserved only where active hostilities are ongoing and state electronic information resources are operating at the same time.
The government has also expanded the list of critical enterprises. It includes manufacturers of unmanned systems and other military equipment. These are companies that fulfill state contracts for the production of unmanned aircraft systems, drones of various types, ground robotic systems, water unmanned systems, weapons, ammunition, their components, and other defense goods.
The new rules also apply to enterprises working under state orders from the State Special Communications Administration and other bodies that form defense contracts.
Thus, the government emphasizes supporting enterprises that provide the army with technology and equipment, especially in conditions of active hostilities.
