The court in Ukraine made a decision to apply a preventive measure against People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of unlawfully depriving a person of his liberty. According to the court's verdict, Tyshchenko was sent to 24-hour house arrest with wearing an electronic means of control - a bracelet on his leg.
This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor General's Office.
"The corresponding decision was made on Tuesday, June 25, by the Pechersk District Court of the capital, fully satisfying the request of the prosecutor," the message reads.
On June 20, in the city of Dnipro, a group of unknown persons attacked a former fighter of the Kraken special unit, Dmytro Pavlov (Syn), while he was walking with a child. The footage shows that the security of People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, with whom Pavlov had an argument, was allegedly involved.
In the scandalous video from Dnipro, in which the guards of People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko attacked a former military man and illegally detained him, the parliamentarian's assistant Evelina Andriyevska also appeared.
On the morning of June 25, the SBI reported that People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko was informed of suspicion based on the events in Dnipro on June 20. The agency said that the deputy was notified of the suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty of the victim (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Currently, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv is choosing a preventive measure against People's Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of illegally depriving a former serviceman of his liberty.
