An incident involving the use of physical force against a 16-year-old student occurred in the dormitory of the Chernivtsi Vocational Educational Institution. Two teenagers in a state of alcohol intoxication attacked the boy and recorded their actions on video. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Chernivtsi region.
Police officers, as indicated, established and documented the illegal actions of minors involved in the incident that took place on December 14 in the dormitory of the Chernivtsi Vocational Educational Institution. A thorough investigation of the event is also underway, which is carried out by juvenile police officers together with educators.
"The law enforcement officers established that two residents of the regional center, aged 14 and 17, probably being intoxicated, got into the room of a 16-year-old student. The guy let them in through the window of the dormitory on his own," the police said.
During communication between minors, a conflict arose, during which the youngest of the guests began to hit the resident of the dormitory, and the oldest filmed the beating on a mobile phone.
Currently, within the framework of the criminal proceedings, the necessary procedural actions are being carried out and appropriate examinations have been ordered.
Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 1 Art. 125 (Intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition, juvenile police officers carry out preventive work with the participants of the event and representatives of the educational institution.
"According to the results of a comprehensive and objective investigation, the final legal qualification of the event will be provided," the police said.
