"Ukrhydroenergo" revealed the number of hydroelectric power stations that were taken out of operation due to shelling by the Russian Federation

Yesterday, May 8, during the shelling of critical infrastructure, large damages were caused to hydropower facilities. Two hydroelectric plants were taken out of service as a result of the Russian attack.

This was reported by the press service of "Ukrhydroenergo".

"Currently, all hydro generation has suffered serious damage. Damaged equipment will require significant efforts to repair and restore, as well as significant financial costs," emphasized Ukrhydroenergo.

The enemy continues to actively attack and destroy the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, delivering targeted strikes, the agency emphasized.
