The Ukrainian hydrometeorological center assessed the increased level of danger due to difficult weather conditions. It is not suitable to believe in almost the entire territory of the country, affecting transport connections and other aspects of life.
According to forecasters, the storm will rage throughout the country, except Transcarpathia.
"On December 17, in Ukraine, except Transcarpathia, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s," the report says.
Because of this, danger level I, yellow, was declared.
Weather in Ukraine on December 17
Today, the weather will be cloudy in Ukraine. Moderate rains are expected. In the Carpathians, in the east and northeast of the country, precipitation will be with wet snow, and in the southern regions there will be light rain in places.
The wind will prevail from the west, 7-12 m/s. In Ukraine, except Transcarpathia, its gusts will reach 15-20 m/s.
During the day, the air will warm up to +3°...+8°, and in the south it will be as much as +7°...+12°.
Weather in Kyiv
Wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are expected in the Kyiv region today. Due to bad weather, the capital was declared at the 1st level of danger.
"Weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, utility companies and traffic," forecasters warn.
The temperature in the capital today will be +5°...+7°.
