On Friday, July 11, most regions of Ukraine will finally breathe a sigh of relief: the air temperature will drop and the sky will be covered with clouds. According to UNIAN, only the east of the country and the Zaporizhia region will remain in the grip of exhausting heat up to +38°.
The coolest temperatures today will be in the west: in Lviv, Ternopil, Lutsk, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Uzhhorod, only +20…+22° are expected during the day, and at night, the thermometer will drop to +9…+12° in some places.
In Kyiv, the weather will also give you a break - up to +25° during the day, +16° at night, and cloudiness will be minimal.
In the north, it will be moderately warm: in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, and Sumy, daytime temperatures will fluctuate within +23…+26°, at night +15…+22°. Rain is possible in Sumy.
In the center - the weather will be mixed. In Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi and Poltava it will be warmer: up to +28…+32°, thunderstorms are possible in places. In Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi it will be sunny, without significant precipitation.
In the south, it is almost a summer maximum: in Odessa +29°, in Mykolaiv and Kherson up to +33°, the sky is mostly clear.
But in the east, hell is not retreating. In Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, daytime temperatures will remain within +34…+38°, and at night - up to +26°. Thunderstorms are forecast in Dnipro and Poltava, and in the rest of the eastern regions - clear or partly cloudy weather.
The hottest is traditionally in Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk: up to +38° during the day, +24° at night. Zaporizhzhia is also in the "red zone" - +35° and cloudless sky.
Precipitation today will be mainly concentrated on the Left Bank - showers with thunderstorms are possible in Poltava, Sumy and Dnipro regions. The rest of the territory will be dry or slightly cloudy.
Ukraine is caught between two climatic zones: while some regions are breathing heavily, others continue to survive under the scorching sun.
