The Kremlin declared the potential opportunity to meet President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, as the Kremlin Prescribe Dmitry Peskov emphasized, such a meeting can only take place after some agreements between the parties are reached.
"As a result of the work of the delegations of the two parties, when they reach certain arrangements, we consider it possible," Peskov said, commenting on negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian delegations that have recently taken place in Istanbul.
At the same time, the Kremlin representative emphasized that the question remains for Russia who will sign potential documents from Ukraine.
Also, according to Peskov, the parties have already exchanged lists of conditions for a possible ceasefire, and work in this direction is ongoing. In particular, it is a possible large -scale exchange of prisoners under the formula "1 000 per 1,000", which was part of the agreements in Istanbul.
At the same time, Peskov reported that there were no contacts between Russian leaders and the United States after talks in Turkey. He noted that the Kremlin would inform the public if Putin and Trump decide to have a telephone conversation.
