The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Poltava sentenced a man who organized a scheme to forge and sell summonses to territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCK and SP) to avoid mobilization.
According to the investigation, the accused, together with an accomplice, made forms with fictitious signatures and official seals, after which he entered the personal data of the "buyers". The documents were created on the accused's equipment in one of the private institutions of the Poltava region. During the search, a laptop, electronic files and fake summonses were seized. The examination confirmed that the handwritten notes belong to him.
In total, at least 60 fake summonses were made and sent to citizens of the region who were subject to military service. The defendant's actions were qualified as obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and forgery of official documents, committed repeatedly and in collusion with another person.
The court approved the plea agreement, found the man guilty under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1 and Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 5 years in prison. At the same time, he was released from serving the sentence with a probationary period of 2 years.
The accused is obliged to periodically appear at the probation agency and report any change of residence or work. In addition, 3565 UAH of procedural costs were collected from him, and the laptop used to make forgeries was confiscated in favor of the state. The court took into account the sincere repentance of the accused, his active assistance to the investigation and a charitable contribution to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of 50 thousand UAH.
