In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at the premises of Viktor Hlushpenko, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Safety Administration, as part of criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - abuse of official position.
According to the investigation, the official, together with former tax police officer Ivan Boychuk, organized a raider seizure of the enterprise “Zagodproduct”. After that, the business was re-registered under fictitious persons, and 3 million hryvnias were illegally appropriated from the state budget.
The investigative actions are aimed at identifying all persons involved in the transaction and collecting evidence of the official's illegal activities. The investigation is being conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation.
Law enforcement officials emphasize that the actions of officials caused significant harm to the state, and the materials of the criminal proceedings can lead to serious consequences for those involved in the case, including criminal liability.
This case once again highlights the problem of raider schemes and abuse of power among government officials, which requires close attention from law enforcement agencies and public oversight.
