Parents of a deceased soldier robbed: three attackers detained in Cherkasy region

In Cherkasy region, law enforcement officers have reported suspicions to three individuals who committed a robbery attack on the parents of a serviceman who died in the war with Russia. This was reported by the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The attackers learned that the pensioners had received financial assistance due to the death of their son. At night, they broke into the couple's house, used physical violence that was dangerous to life and health, and stole 74,000 hryvnias, a mobile phone, and bank cards.

After the crime, the attackers fled the scene. All three were quickly detained. The court chose a preventive measure for them - detention without bail.

For what they have done, those involved in the case face 8 to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
