The Ministry of Health asked the law enforcement agencies to conduct additional inspections of the tender for the repair of the building of the "Okhmatdyt" hospital, which was damaged by rocket fire in July. This was announced by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
Lyashko noted that on August 2, all interested parties will have the opportunity to ask questions about this tender. "I invite you to do this in Okhmatdyt at 2:00 p.m., where I will be present together with the leadership of Okhmatdyt and the Foundation," the minister said. He emphasized that at the moment the contract with the contractor company has not yet been signed, as the study of its ability to perform the necessary work is ongoing.
Lyashko also promised that after signing the contract, full transparency of the process will be ensured. Reports will be published daily to inform the public about the use of funds raised by charitable trusts to rebuild the hospital.
More than 800 million hryvnias were deposited into the accounts of charitable funds for the restoration of Okhmatdyt.
The winner of the tender was "Bud-Technology" LLC, which offered to perform the works for 307 million hryvnias (without VAT). The proposal was the third most expensive among 14 participants in the competition. A dozen other companies offered to perform the work much cheaper, from 42 to 286 million hryvnias. However, the customer did not negotiate with any of them, without explaining his decision.
An analysis conducted by the publication "Our Money" showed that out of ten cheaper proposals, at least seven contained fully completed commercial proposals with prices for various types of work. The publication also revealed the overestimation of prices for the repair of facade composite panels "Reynaers" and decoration of internal walls with HP panels.
